Ukraine Blackout News: President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that Russia is responsible for power cuts across eastern Ukraine. Zelensky accused Moscow of deliberately affecting civilian infrastructure. Zelensky blamed “Russian terrorists” for complete blackouts in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions and partial blackouts in Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions.
“The aim is to deprive people of light and heat,” he said in a statement on social media. According to media reports, nine million people have been affected due to this blackout. Simultaneously, officials of the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions said immediately after the power cut was announced that electricity had been restored.
A total blackout in the Kharkiv & Donetsk regions, a partial one in the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk & Sumy regions. RF terrorists remain terrorists & attack critical infrastructure. No military facilities, the goal is to deprive people of light & heat. #RussiaIsATerroristState

Ukraine claims – Russian troops withdrew
According to media reports, Ukraine’s chief commander, General Valery Zaluzny, said that the armed forces had regained control of more than 3,000 square km (1,158 sq mi) since the beginning of this month. Let us tell you that the quick action taken by Ukraine to retake Russian-held areas in the north-eastern Kharkiv region forced Russia to withdraw its troops.
‘Russian army running away with back’
The Ukrainian president mocked Russian forces in a video released late Saturday, saying, “These days the Russian army is doing its best and running away with its back.” The retreat of Russian forces is seen as a major battlefield success for the Ukrainian military, as they thwarted Russia’s attempt to take control of the capital Kyiv at the start of the war nearly seven months earlier.
