Avalanche in Nepal: There has been a heavy avalanche again near Manaslu Base Camp in Nepal. No casualty has been reported so far due to this natural calamity that came on Sunday (October 2) morning. According to sources in the base camp, some tents have been destroyed. Last week also there was a severe avalanche here, in which two people lost their lives. This is the second time in a week that a massive avalanche has been witnessed near the Manaslu base camp.
According to Tashi Sherpa, who witnessed the avalanche in Nepal with his own eyes, some tents were ruined, but no casualties were reported.
Last week two climbers died
This year the Nepal government issued more than 400 permits to climb the Manaslu base camp. Last month, on September 26, at least two climbers were killed and 12 people were injured in an avalanche at the base camp of Mount Manaslu. The avalanche incident took place on the route just below Camp IV of Mount Manaslu when the climbers were bringing logistics to the camps.

What is Avalanche?
A week after two people, including an Indian climber, were killed in an avalanche, a severe avalanche near the base camp of Mount Manaslu in Nepal has raised concerns for climbers. Search operation is going on. Avalanche means an avalanche which meant the movement of snow. When a mountain suddenly moves towards a slope, it is called an avalanche.
