There has been a heavy earthquake in Mexico for the second time in 2-3 days. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 6.8 on the Richter scale. The largest earthquake tremors were felt in the capital Mexico City. According to Mexico’s Civil Protection Agency, two days ago there was a severe earthquake. Two people were killed and ten were injured in Tuesday’s earthquake. Reports put the magnitude of that earthquake at 7.6. About two hundred buildings were reported to have been damaged by the earthquake.

According to the US Geological Survey, the quake’s epicenter was 15 kilometers below ground, near the Michoacan border with Colima on the west coast. Following the quake, the US Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami warning off the coast of Mexico as ocean waves rose 3 to 9 feet.
