After the murder of Mahsa Amini, now another girl Nika Shakrami was brutally murdered. 17-year-old Nika’s nose was chopped off and her head was crushed. Now news is coming out that Iran’s security forces have forcibly buried his body in a village.
According to a BBC report, on Monday, Nika’s family thought of burying the body but the body was snatched away and buried in a village about 40 km from the area. Nika was involved in a protest in Tehran on 20 September and was missing for the past 10 days. Her aunt has said that Nika had sent a message in which she said that the police was following her.
Police did not even let near the dead body
After this Nika’s family members found her dead body. Nika’s aunt says that when we went to identify the dead body, the police personnel did not let them go near the dead body. His face was opened for only a few seconds. After this, the body of Nika was sent to the father’s native village. Nika’s family members were not ready to perform the last rites of the dead body. After this the security forces stole Nika’s body and buried it in a village far from her native village.
Protesters furious after Nika’s death
After the death of 17-year-old Nika, the anger of the protesters has flared up. On the other hand, the government has once again threatened the protesters that if they do not stop protesting, they will have to face the consequences. According to media reports, hijab protests have reached 164 cities. Its effect is being seen in 31 states. The difficulty of the government is that the more it is trying to suppress this protest, the faster it has been spreading.
