IPL 2023: Even before the start of the next season of the Indian Premier League, teams have started adding players through trading. Auction is also to be organized next month and before that the teams are swapping players among themselves. Kolkata Knight Riders have roped in two players of defending champion Gujarat Titans through trading. Kolkata has selected two excellent players for trading and both these players can prove to be very beneficial for them in the next season.
Kolkata has added New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson with them. Ferguson took 12 wickets in 13 matches for Gujarat last season and was instrumental in making the team champions. Earlier he was playing for Kolkata only but last season the team released him and Gujarat bought him for a huge price of 10 crores. Afghanistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz is also associated with Kolkata. Last season Gurbaz was not bought by any IPL team but Gujarat included him in their team as a replacement player. Gujarat included Gurbaz in the team after Jason Roy pulled out of the IPL. However, Gurbaz did not get a chance to play a single match.
