India Vs South Africa 3rd T20I: Team India has taken an important decision before the third T20 match against South Africa to be played on October 4. After taking a 2-0 lead in the series, Team India has announced to rest vice-captain KL Rahul from the third T20 match. In the absence of KL Rahul, wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant can be seen handling the responsibility of opening with captain Rohit Sharma.
The team management had already decided to rest in-form Virat Kohli from the third T20 match. Shreyas Iyer is set to replace Virat Kohli in the playing 11. Not only this, Iyer will be seen batting at number three after getting a place in the playing 11.
The picture is not clear about the replacement of KL Rahul. The team does not have any other batsman in the extras. In the playing 11, Shahbaz Ahmed or Mohammad Siraj can be given a chance in place of KL Rahul. Siraj’s chances of playing are also more because he can make a place in the World Cup team in case Bumrah is not fit.
