Navdeep Saini Ruled Out India A vs New Zealand A ODI Series: Indian player Navdeep Saini has been out of the India A team due to injury. He was to play in the unofficial ODI series against New Zealand A. Navdeep got injured during the second semi-final match of the Duleep Trophy. He is part of the North Zone team. Rishi Dhawan has been included in the India A team in place of Navdeep.
The BCCI gave information about Saini’s injury through a tweet. The board wrote on its official website, “Navdeep Saini has been injured during the second semi-final match of the Duleep Trophy being played between North Zone and South Zone. They have been ruled out of the current tournament as well as the upcoming three-match ODI series between India A and New Zealand A. The selection committee has included Rishi Dhawan in the team instead of Navdeep.
Significantly, Navdeep Saini has been a great bowler. He has played two Tests, 8 ODIs and 11 T20 International matches for Team India. During this Navdeep took 6 wickets in ODIs, 4 in Tests and 13 wickets in T20 format. He has also played 30 matches in the Indian Premier League. He has also done well in the Duleep Trophy.
