IPL 2022, RCB: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has named Rajat Patidar in place of injured Lavneeth Sisodia for the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The franchise confirmed about this on Sunday. Patidar, representing Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket, has played 31 T20s so far and has 861 runs in his name with the help of 7 half-centuries.
The right-handed batsman represented the RCB franchise four times. He will join the team at a cost of Rs 20 lakh. Faf du Plessis-led RCB has played two matches so far this season, winning one and losing one. Now they will take on Rajasthan Royals on 5th April at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

28-year-old Rajat Patidar has been a part of RCB’s team even before this. In IPL 2021, he scored 71 runs in four matches for Bangalore. During this his highest score was 31 runs. While talking about his List A career, he has 1397 runs in 43 matches at an average of 34.07. In this his highest score is 158 runs.
