National Doctors Day 2022 Wishes: Doctor is given the status of God. Doctors give life to people. In such a situation, people worship doctors as human beings on earth. In India, July 1 is celebrated as Doctor’s Day. On this day people wish them well for the work of doctors and in their honor. Thank them for their service. The way the doctors performed their responsibility and saved millions of lives during the Corona period is really a great work. There have been many such doctors in history who are remembered on this day.
History of National Doctors Day
The Central Government started celebrating National Doctors Day in the year 1991. This day also marks the death anniversary of a great doctor. Remembering them and showing gratitude to the doctors, this special day is celebrated.
In fact, on July 1, the great Indian doctor Bidhan Chandra Roy was born. In his memory, this day is celebrated as Doctor’s Day. Dr. Bidhanchandra Roy was a great doctor. He was also the second Chief Minister of West Bengal.
Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy had entered politics at the behest of Mahatma Gandhi. He was also a great social worker, agitator and a good politician. He took part in the non-cooperation movement during independence. Some knew him as the doctor of Mahatma Gandhi and Chacha Nehru.
Bidhanchandra Roy was a great doctor
Dr. Bidhanchandra Roy was born on 1 July 1882 in Khazanchi, Patna, Bihar. Bidhanchandra was a brilliant student. He got his early education from India and higher education from England. He started his career as a doctor from Sealdah. He played the responsibility of a hardworking and smart doctor in a government hospital.

Bidhan Chandra Roy was also a great social worker. His contribution cannot be forgotten. He donated all his earnings to charity. He served lakhs of injured during independence. This is the reason that even today Dr. Bidhanchandra is a role model for the people. People want to serve the country like him.
